
“He’s working to get back,” Mangini said, “and I’m happy with the way he’s working.”
Rogers injured his foot during a practice on Aug. 2. After being held out for two weeks, he wore back his browns jersey and hit the tackling sled and working on individual drills on Tuesday, and on Wednesday, he worked mainly on the stationary bike and joined his defensive teammates on the sideline for the end of practice.
As the team’s only Pro Bowl representative last year, Rogers recorded 81 tackles and 4 1-2 sacks. And the team would decide late this week about whether to have him playing for Saturday’s preseason home game against the Tennessee Titans.
