During the Miami Dolphins Thursday practice, head coach Tony Sparano did not let quarterback Ted Ginn Jr. practice with the first or second teams as he usually did. It seemed that he was trying other quarterbacks to see who will probably be the best replacement to the current starter.
Sparano had Dovone Bess, Greg Camarillo and even Brian Hartline, who is yet wearing NFL jersey for the first year, taking turns to get a look at them. Having been unhappy with Ginn’s performance for the season, the coach seemed to plan to move the starter a few rungs down on the depth chart.
"We'll see where we are at the end of the week,'' Sparano said to the paper. "Right now, I'm just upsetting the whole apple cart to see how this thing goes."
Even though Ginn is still the official starting quarterback for the Miami Dolphins, it seemed he is near in losing the job unless he shows obvious improvement on this Sunday night while playing against the New York Jets.
